The president of the Petroholding Group, Vladimir N. Bulavin, came to Italy many times to visit some of the most interesting and complicated real estate developments both in Milan and Rome, and eventually, together with Stefano B. Casarelli, decided to open Petroholding Italia in July 2015.

Stefano has been C.F.O. and Managing Director of Hines, one of the leading real estate developers in the world, for the Italian operations since year 2000 and for 15 years has been the key person seeking and negotiating all the loans and sources of finance with banks and investors in connection with the development of all the Hines projects in Italy.

The company objectives are to seek and present both to private and qualified investors and to Italian and foreign real estate funds, either opportunistic development projects and long term investments with high yields and returns.

During October 2016 Petroholding executed the first acquisition of a project in Italy on behalf of its investors, the prestigious Hotel & Resort Le Picchiaie at the Elba Island. The resort is unique for its history, tradition and amazing position and view on the Gulf of Portoferraio. Petroholding Italia is a Project Management organization committed in creating value of real estate projects from acquisition to disposition.
